What Clients Say!

Lori Williams has tutored Dylan twice a week for five years, and she is a godsend! After he was diagnosed with Dyslexia in second grade, the first conversation I had with her immediately calmed my anxiety regarding the best path forward to address his unique learning style. She is a perfect fit for a high energy, sporty boy. Her patient, creative, and fun approach to learning make tutoring one of his favorite activities every week. He is now entering seventh grade. Remarkably, in the last year Dylan accelerated from a 5th grade to a 9th grade reading level. This significant improvement is largely due to Lori’s wonderful academic influence. As parents, my husband and I are beyond thankful for Lori’s presence in Dylan’s life. She’s the best!

Lori has worked absolute magic with our daughter who has Dyslexia and Autism. Our daughter used to avoid reading and writing at all costs. Now she is reading books all on her own and will write full paragraphs. She is always excited to see Lori every week and really enjoys their sessions. I can't explain how relieving it was to find someone like Lori that could break things down for her to understand and accommodate to her learning style. We couldn't be more happy with the progress Lori has made with our daughter.

Mrs. Williams has been an amazing resource for our family. When my oldest daughter was in first grade at a private Colorado school, we were told that she was not meeting math and reading goals for her grade level, having transferred in from another state. We were referred to Mrs. Williams and within a few months she was caught up. We transferred our daughter from private to public school, continued with Mrs. Williams, and within a year our daughter was excelling. She is now scoring in the high percentiles on standardized exams in Middle School. When our second daughter was having trouble with reading and math in Kindergarten, I immediately thought of Mrs. Williams. She didn’t miss a beat and started tutoring lessons twice a week. Our second daughter is now in 1 st grade and not just meeting but surpassing her academic milestones. We are so grateful for finding Mrs. Williams and we have never looked back. I hope that her retirement is well after our children are out of grade school!

As a mother, dyslexia advocate, and attorney, I know how critical the right intervention is. My daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia at age nine, and finding the right support was a long journey—until we met Lori Williams.
Lori’s expertise as a Wilson tutor has been transformative. She combines evidence-based instruction with genuine compassion, helping my daughter not only strengthen her reading and writing skills but also rebuild her confidence.
Lori doesn’t just teach—she empowers. She has given my daughter the tools to succeed and the belief that she is capable, intelligent, and unstoppable. We are forever grateful for the difference she has made in our lives.

When we first began our journey with Lori our grandson was unable to read at grade level (1.5 grades behind). He had been receiving inadequate help from the school he attended. We had many discussions with the school regarding his lack of progress in reading plus the fact that we suspected he had dyslexia. We had him professionally tested outside of the school system and it was confirmed he has dyslexia. We needed someone with experience and the ability to communicate and understand children and their needs.
Thank goodness we found Lori!
Lori was able to bring our grandson up to grade level in reading, comprehension and spelling. She was a tremendous help with improving his writing skills, i.e. sentence structure, punctuation, organizing his thoughts and putting them on paper. He continues to work hard at these tasks, but Lori gave him the direction and confidence he was lacking from the school.
Lori's dedication and perseverance with our grandson prepared him for middle school. He participates in class because of the self-confidence she instilled in him. She tunes into her students, builds a great rapport, instills confidence and strives to understand their individual needs to help them succeed both in and out of school. Our grandson would not be where he is today without Lori.
Thank you, Lori, you are awesome!
